at the starbucks. this is because of an alarm the customer, this could turn out a lot worse. we've started to get the details from the san jose police department as to what happened yesterday. according to the san jose police department around 345 yesterday a lady walked into the starbucks and casually pulled out two bottles of orange juice from her bag and put them in the display case where the other bottle of starbucks are sold. one of the stop customers inside the starbucks found it really strange. she's out a woman do it and that she left she alerted the manager to what she saw. the manager went over to the oranges and picked up and smell it and it does have a different smell to it. immediately, the manager called the police. the police came to the scene and they determine there was rubbing alcohol blood inside those bottles of orange juice. as a woman was leaving the starbucks on chanel, another alarmed customer got her license plate number. because they got the license plate number around 830 last night they were able to track down this woman. she is 50 year-old grammy about athenian of san

how a starbucks store was targeted, janine? >> that woman was spiking drinks at a starbucks, the one on santa theresa just opened up and employees helped track down the woman responsibility. >> reporter: police say a customer noticed a woman walk into the starbucks and remove two bottles in a bag and replace them in a case of items. then the woman left the store and the employee noticed a toxic smell. they noticed rubbing alcohol was inside and they had recorded the woman's license plate down and they tracked her to a home four miles away, they arrested 50-year-old woman. police believe she acted alone and they are investigating a motive. now police will be holding a news conference this morning and we have reached out to the corporate offices to see if they are doing anything as a precaution. we have not heard back yet. police tell us there is no further danger to anyone and we will have much more on the next hour of the news. janine de la vega ktvu channel 2 morning news. >>> police are investigating a deadly shooting last night. an unidentified vehicle was found near parker and st
